It's National Custodian Day

Custodians play a vital role in our schools every day. They arrive early to open buildings, prepare classrooms, and make sure learning spaces are ready for students and staff.

Throughout the day, they respond to what’s needed—cleaning up spills, fixing problems, setting up events, and helping create a welcoming environment for everyone. When the school day ends, their work continues as they reset each space for tomorrow.

Custodians are part of what makes Highline run smoothly. Their work supports learning, safety and belonging in every building.
